Founded in 2008, 2009 entered the top 20 German
alternativ charts with their debut EP ‘Herzschlag’ and stayed
there for four weeks, in their first year, they already have rocked the main
stages throughout Germany together with Doro, In Extremo, and Saltatio Mortis:
this is STAHLMANN.
In 2010, drummer O-Lee (ex ‘Die
Schröders’) and bassplayer Dirk (ex ‘Engelhai’) have joined
the band to bring a more driving beat. A few festivals and concerts have
already been played which are presented by the Zillo magazine and their first
longplayer will be released by the end of 2010.
With their debut album, the five guys from Goettingen will
continue with their great work that they have already done with the EP
‘Herzschlag’: pure industrial with metal and gothic influences
without mercy, melodious vocals that describe the dark paths of this world, and
a brute kicking guitar sound, you will not find elsewhere.
And: who
has once seen STAHLMANN on stage knows that these guys have no limit – the
silver faces of the five guys reflect the steely sound of their instruments and
Mart’s deep voice in an extraordinary performance.
